Breaking News - Qantas to increase fares!
Qantas has just announced a further increase in its international and domestic fares in response to record fuel prices.
CEO Geoff Dixon said international fares would increase by about 4%, with a 3% increase in domestic fares - on top of announces of 3% international and 3.5% domestic announced earlier in the month.
He also said Qantas was targeting further efficiency improvements "which now include a review of the network and schedules of Qantas, QantasLink and Jetstar."
The new increases will become effective for tickets issued in Australia on or after 04 Jun.
